Is it possible to setup the PokerTracker installed on Windows VM to log into the Postgres DB installed on OSX Host? Is there any possible problems? I would like to run Poker Tracker on both OSX and Windows - both copies tracking into the Postgres DB installed on the OSX Host. Quite often I play on both platforms at the same time. Nevertheless some sites affiliated to PS (Microgaming/IPoker) do not Support MAC, this is why I still use the Windows VM as second choice. But very much prefer to play on OSX where MAC version is available (888/PKR). The system is a Macbook Pro (I7/16GB RAM) with a dedicated Virual Machine for some Poker Sites (Parallels 9 / Windows 7 / 4 GB RAM and two CPU Threads allocated to it). I am running an evaluation version of PokerTracker on right now and need some advise related to optimum setup and licencing on my machine.
If you want to merge databases on the new computer, you will need to export the sessions from the old database, then import them into the new database (or you can grab the files from the Processed files folder on the old computer and then manually import).

If we detect multiple concurrent uses at the same time this may disable your license. It shouldnt matter if its windows 7 or 8 as far as I know.Correction - You do not need to disable PokerTracker on your original computer, our servers detect concurrent usage - your user license allows up to two concurrent usages at the same time. As far as xferring databases, just export and save onto a flash drive or w/e you want to use, and just import on to new database on new laptop. If you log into PT4 or email them and ask them how to do it, you can "disable" your old PT4 code and use it on new computer.
